| Description of the problem | Just bought our 07 e350 on 4//7/15 and it had a full tank of gas. Got it home and when we got out we could smell gas really bad! We couldn't see it leaking anywhere so pulled it in the garage and it stunk up our whole garage like gas. We thought maybe the dealer over filled it so maybe it was just venting fumes. It eventually went away. Then on 4/12/15 i filled the tank up and the gas smell came back. So it only happens when it's a full tank. This is a problem for alot of e-class w211 cars. Mercedes-benz has recently made an extended warranty to have it fixed for non-pzev vehicles but i have a pzev vehicle and they won't warranty it for me! My little girls ride in the back seat that is right over the gas tank! This should be fixed pzev vehicle or not! |
